Attack S.S. 보컬리스트 준으로부터 온 전언 (中)

정확하게 말하자면 우리는 나고야 출신이 아닙니다. 우리는 오카자키라고 하는 나고야 인근 소도시 출신이죠. 이곳에도 공연장은 몇 군데 있지만, 너무 비싸서 "부잣집 도련님"이나 드나들 수 있어요. 얘네들은 하드코어가 뭔지도 몰라요. 다들 잘난 척하면서, 만일 난동 피우려거든 우리더러 돈부터 내래요.

그래서 우리는 폐업 직전까지 갈 만큼 낡은 술집에서 연주하기 시작했습니다. 비록 형편없는 시설이지만 그럭저럭 괜찮았어요. 우리 스스로가 장비를 가져오고 우리끼리 벼룩 시장도 열었습니다. D.I.Y. 공연을 열기 위한 자구책이었어요!

과거에는 우리 동네에도 펑크가 꽤 있었다고 해요. 하지만 우리가 음악을 시작할 무렵에는 아무도 없었습니다. 진짜 아무도 없었다니까요. 하지만 서서히 펑크 신이 커져가고 있는 것은 분명합니다!! 아직 가능성은 무궁무진하단 뜻입니다!

우리의 원칙은, "미리 술을 가져올 게 아니라, 돈만 가져와서 공연장에서 직접 사 마시자."라고 하는 것입니다. 일본 펑크는 마치 무슨 금붕어가 물을 마시듯이 술을 마시거든요. 그러니까 관객으로 온 사람들이 쓰는 술값은 우리가 공연장으로 사용하는 술집에도 도움이 될 뿐 아니라, 만일 남는 돈은 먼 곳에서 공연하러 온 밴드에게도 돌아갈 수 있다는 뜻입니다! 돈이 이런 식으로 순환이 되야 하는 거잖아요. 구경하러 온 사람들은 구경하러 온 사람들대로 신나게 놀 수 있으니까 좋고, 밴드는 밴드대로 자기 주머닛돈 써가면서 공연하지 않아도 되니까 좋고, 공연장은 공연장대로 수익금이 생기니까 좋고, 다들 좋죠. 그래서 앞으로도 더 많은 관객이 필요해요!

아마 한국 쪽 상황과도 비슷한 것 같아요. 실제로 여러분이 매 공연마다 얼마나 최선을 다하는지 잘 봤습니다. 우리 역시 여러분을 본받겠습니다!
 
금번 한국 공연을 통해서 맺어진 인연을 절대 잃고 싶지 않습니다. 그러니까 앞으로도 계속 연락하여 각자가 몸담고 있는 펑크 신을 더 크게 만들기 위한 의견을 나누자고요!
 
to be honest, we are not really from Nagoya. we are originally from the small city its called Okazaki where its near Nagoya. they have a few live-houses, but its pretty expensive and there for "preppies". they don't know what hard-core is. being a smart ass and tells us to pay extra money for breaking stuffs.

so we have started to playing at this old junk bar where almost closed down! its pretty shitty place but neat. we are bringing our own equipments and instruments, selling used stuff to each other...to have a DIY GIGs there!

theres some punk kids here long time ago, but whenever ive started playing this kind of music, theres no kids who linstens punk...seriously, NONE. but this punk scene is getting bigger i can tell!! theres many possibilities that we can go through! lol

our style is, "not bring alcohol to the bar, bring money and buy alcohol there". japanese punk kids drink alcohol like a fish, so those money who paid for alcohol will help this bar. and the rest of them will be given to the bands who comes from far! that way, the money circulation be good, you know. as long as people would show up, they can have fun, the bands dont need to pay lots of money to play, and the bar would be helped. we still need more and more audiences to make it..!

the situation is about the same as yours. Gunhee and other people were actually taking action to make the show better and better, i could tell. i need to be like you!
